In a previous blog, we talked about how important it is for organisations and facilities managers to consider the reliability of the entire supply chain when choosing fire safety and emergency lighting technology for their buildings.

Fire safety manufacturers aren’t working in isolation to produce their equipment. They depend on their suppliers to provide them with high-calibre materials and components on time and at the right specification to ensure they are able to give customers technology that offers optimum performance throughout its lifetime.

But it is not enough simply to have a reliable supply chain. Manufacturers also need to be open and transparent to their customers about the performance of their supplier network in order to support them in choosing the best life safety equipment for the needs of their buildings. If they don’t, their customers could end up selecting products that do not meet the right regulatory requirements, or require additional servicing that could prove costly in the long run.

To help in all this, we have developed our infographic, A Quality Assured Supply Chain. This handy tool gives a concise and easy-to-understand overview of Hochiki Europe’s design work, hand testing procedures, and production processes to help customers see the attention we pay to product quality and our network of suppliers.

Supply chain reliability is something Hochiki Europe cares passionately about. It is crucial for us to ensure that our supply chain is as dependable as it can possibly be, as this can have a significant impact on customers’ budgets and on broader project delivery.

We also believe that, by providing our customers with comprehensive information about our supply chain, we can support them in making an informed decision about the fire safety and emergency lighting equipment for their building. In doing so, we can ensure they have the tools they need to choose products that comply with all relevant safety legislation and offer the highest level of performance throughout their lifetime. Ultimately, this will help organisations and facilities managers to protect their buildings and the people who use them every day.
